Singer/Songwriter Megan Stoneson Releases Single ‘COME HOME’

Feb. 25, 2022 (MORRO BAY, CA) — Singer/Songwriter Megan Stoneson has released her second single, “Come Home.” The singer wrote this song about missing her wife and being alone while her wife was at work in the evenings. This is the second single coming out shortly after Megan’s single “Mine” was released February 11. “Mine” is a love song about her wife and about “coming out” to her parents as bisexual.

Megan produced and recorded her single “Come Home” in her home studio. A fan of Ariana Grande, Lianne La Havas, Daniela Andrade, and more R&B/Pop artists, Megan developed this single into a smooth R&B love song about missing her person.

The artist describes the writing process for “Come Home.”

“I was feeling lonely and missing my wife, and the lyrics for the chorus just came out of me. I recorded it on my phone, and later revisited it to create the rest of the song. After I laid down some piano and vocals, I just kept adding sounds and drums and everything else! It was like making a layered cake from the bottom up, adding whatever layers felt right.”
